It was great to see all of the campers dressed in red, white and blue last week to celebrate our Independence Day. Our Discover Technology campers honored America by launching both water and engine propelled rockets. The camp day culminated in a camp show singing songs that represent our country. I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July!

Discover Technology classes launch their rockets to celebrate July 4th. Campers made water rockets (with fins cut with our laser cutter) and Estes rockets with engines. It was great!
Week 1 of ADC is almost in the books!
We have had some beautiful weather to open the season. Campers have been having a great time working on patriotic songs and cheers with Mr. Smith. Both Mr. and Mrs. Dudzinski gave campers airbrushed tattoos in Arts and Crafts. Mr. Elliot and Mr. Briante had campers line-dancing to country music. Mr. DiFalco has been working on team-building in Project Adventure and campers were enjoying their daily swim with Mr. Mascetta and the lifeguards at the pool. In Science and Nature with Mr. Ryan the campers were launching pressurized water rockets. In Discover Technology, Mr. Ponterio had groups building rockets to be launched on Thursday in on honor of the 4th of July!
This week’s trip for the middle school groups is to Splashdown Water Park on Wednesday, July 2nd . (Please send a lunch with your child.)
Thursday is Stars and Stripes Day. Have your camper(s) wear red, white and blue to camp in honor of Independence Day.
Please note there is no camp on Friday July 4th.
For those campers buying lunch daily, please try your best to send exact change. Should you need to contact the camp office you can reach us from 8:15 AM – 4:15 PM at: 914-693-7568.
